Thursday Night USGA-LPGA Girl’s Golf Clinic
Whether your daughter is new to the game or an experienced golfer the USGA-LPGA Girl’s Golf Academy is a great opportunity for them to learn or fine tune their golf game. Our goal is to keep girls engaged and enjoying themselves while learning all aspects of the golf game, so that they will feel confident and successful out on the golf course.
This comprehensive clinic series is seven weeks long and each week will focus on one to three aspects of the golf game, from driving, putting, chipping, pitching to playing out of the sand. Besides learning the golf swing your junior golfer will also learn or gain more knowledge of the rules and etiquette of the game.
Week 1: Putting (green etiquette, proper GASP, shorts putts), Half Swing (proper GASP, swing technique ‘Y to L and Turn’).
Week 2: Chipping (proper GASP, Chipping Ladder Game), Half Swing (review GASP & ‘Y to L and Turn’, swing technique hitting down on ball).
Week 3: Putting (review GASP, Distance Control), Full Swing (review GASP, full swing with irons & hybrids).
Week 4: Bunkers (bunker rules and etiquette, splashing out of sand), Pitching (review GASP, hitting ball high and landing it soft).
Week 5: Bring a Friend Night!, Putting ( review GASP, Team Cow Pasture Pool Golf Game).
Week 6: Chip & Putt (review GASP, chip and putt out), Full Swing (review GASP, how to properly practice; short irons to Driver.).

Being a Girls Golf member comes with perks!
In addition to sending each girl that registers a membership gift, which includes fun logoed merchandise and accessories, the girls are also granted free entry to participate in various LPGA leadership events. 3 of our girls have attended a leadership event in Pinehurst, compliments of the LPGA! 4 different college scholarships are awarded annually to Girls Golf members as well.
The girls also get free entry to LPGA, Symetra Tour and USGA Championships.
Last fall, the LPGA sent us 5 sets of brand new clubs, for our girls that are just starting out, and don’t own clubs yet, to use during our programs. Even if your daughter cannot make our academy this season, still sign up on the LPGA site.
They have recently rolled out a Girls Golf app that they are asking everyone to use to sign up this year. If that doesn't work, here is the link to sign up through their website
