Program Intro (Camp / Enrichment / Play Day): We are introducing our popular Co-ed Junior Clinic on the Course! Coach Paul will be walking the course with the junior golfers. They will be focused on fundamentals, rules, etiquette, golf course management and score improvement. Teamwork and camaraderie will be encouraged. This clinic is for ages 11-16. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, enjoy the outdoors and learn the game that lasts a lifetime. This clinic is the perfect avenue for your junior golfer to transition to playing a regulation size golf course in a fun, low key environment. Each week, we will start with a putting warm up, followed by some iron and wedge practice.

RGA is the oldest golf course in the Triangle, dating back to 1929.

Raleigh Golf Association was founded in 1929. It is the oldest public golf course in the Raleigh area. The course was re-designed in 1998 by David Postlethwaite. RGA currently has 18 holes public and 9 holes that are private but are open to the public at certain times. Our league will play on the private stockholder 9 hole course. These 27 holes of golf provide unique challenges for all levels of golf experience. RGA is "walker-friendly", with minimal distances from green-to-tee. Yardage on the private course from blue tees is 2762, from the white tees it is 2657, from the red tees it is 2167. Total yardage from the Gold Tees is 2227.

League Description:

TGA will be offering multiple Leagues throughout 2022 at Raleigh Golf Association!

Spring Session: This will consist of a Co-ed Junior league for 11-15 year olds who are looking for action on the course to help develop their game and improve their scores!

Summer Session: This league is geared for students who are looking to compete in tournaments or their high school team! This combination combines a clinic at Knights Play on Thursdays and course play at RGA on Sundays!

Fall Session: Join our "Clinic on the Course" this Fall! Take your time and learn to execute a variety of shots while on the course! This program is not counting score, but improving your game with repetition of shots at a slower pace from a various positions!

League Notes:

Golfers are expected to have prior course experience and understand the basic safety and rules & etiquette of the game.
Each player will be playing tee to green and keeping their own score for team format.
All golfers will play Gold tees
